Haven't done a lot of investigating yet but saw a line of something running down the left side engine cover and pooled on the floor. It was green and oily. Looks like it was dripping from where the throttle bodies meet the back of the motor. Looks like more than coolant - because it was a little oily. Any thoughts?

More than Likely coolant if its green. when it dries out it dries out to a white mark our powder looking mark.

Particularly now your winter has set in everything on the bike will be contracting a tiny little bit. You most probably need to lift the tank and nip up any of the radiator hoses up the top around the Cap or the thermostat housing. they will go up about 1/4 of a turn if they haven't already been tightened.

I am sure that if you started it up and got it warm it would stop but when everything shrinks down again because of your winter conditions it will leak again.

GerPa is correct on all counts - if you're using the recommended HOAT-type antifreeze, it does indeed dry snow white, rather like chalk.
HOAT can be any color, including more-or-less clear, and it does have a slightly oily feel to it. I know because my lower radiator hose just decided to leak.
Was time to change it anyway.
BTW, easier to remove radiator to drain than to follow manual's instructions.

Ger pa is correct and gives you easiest to check, the only other place to check would be the thermostat housing.

Wouldn't a drain tap at the bottom of the radiator be nice? Same as our forks ( I know Kim has machined his ), servicing ease has taken a backward step with modern designs.

Interesting. I didn't think of the cold weather causing a contraction. It just happened recently as it got very cold. Only seemed to happen when parked. Not a lot, as I cleaned it up after the first time and then nothing for about a week. Yes, it is a white, dusty powder. I will lift the tank and get a closer look.
